Hanseatic city Uelzen

Uelzen is also called  the Uhlenköperstadt in regional parlance. This stems from the legend that a Uelzer citizen bought  owls (Ulen, Uhlen) from a farmer instead of black grouse.

Hundertwasserbahnhof Uelzen

If you want to visit one of the 10 most beautiful stations worldwide, you should not miss the Hundertwasserbahnhof Uelzen. With its golden balls and the many colorful mosaics, it is a major attraction of Uelzen.

Thermal spring Bad Bevensen

If you like to be pampered on vacation, you are  just right here. The spa offers with its sauna landscape (both inside and outside) a great atmosphere to really relax. A fitness area is also available here. You can book various treatments and massages.

In addition to the 1000m² large sauna area you can look forward to a spacious bathing area, where bathing in medicinal water, rest and relaxation come first.

Treetreck – Forest climbing path

High out in the climbing park in Bad Bevensen. On an area of 64.000m² you can have a lot of fun. The stations and obstacles were carefully adapted to the forest. A great nature experience for the whole family (minimum height for children 135 cm).

The climbing tour can be booked either by phone or directly via the Uhlenköper camp.

Nordic Walking Uelzen

Aboretum Melzingen

Otterzentrum Hankensbüttel

Heidepark Soltau

Vogelpark Walsrode

Museumsdorf Hösseringen

The open-air museum of the Lüneburg Heath is surrounded by large forests. Overall, the area of the site is 100,000m². There, the Heideentdeckerpfad leads through the 18 information stations and provides interesting facts about the origins of the old cultural landscape and the animals that live there.

Miranda
